I've been getting a lot of spurious incoming calls on one of my obi110 devices.  The entries in the log look like:

Peer Name   101
Peer Number   101

where the Name and Number have been

801,701,601,101, test, test1, ipphone, cisco, admin,

etc.

My provider is anveo.  I have a second obi100 in another location, but attached to the same anveo number and it does not receive these calls.

Any idea what might be going on ?   It's a pain when it happens at 4:00 am

SIP scanners.

See http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=5467.0

Method 3 is easy for Anveo, but method 4 is nearly as easy. Either is very  effective.

Use method 0 for unused ports. Nothing is needed for SP used for Google Voice.
