I am unable to make this feature work on my Obi110. Everything seems to work correctly. I got all the way through the auto attendant response "Please wait while your call is being connected", then the line is disconnected.

The device line port is  connected to a land line in Vietnam. I wonder if there is some special setting for this PSTN that I need to enter to make the bridge work because it used to work when I tried it on this same device after I bought it in the US.

One thing that will cause the symptom that you describe is a false disconnect signal when the adapter takes the PSTN line off hook to dial the call.  You can check this out if you run a syslog on the adapter. If it is a false CPC signal you may alleviate the problem by slightly increasing the CPCTimeThreshold on the Line Port PSTN Disconnect Detection.

To run a syslog you download and install a syslog program on your pc.  You set the pc's address under System Management-->Device Admin-->Syslog-->Server.  I would also set the X_SipDebugOption to "Log All Messages" on the SPx Service you are using to access the adapter. Obi has a simple windows pc syslog program available for download ... http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?action=printpage;topic=707.0

vank12,

You did not mention what is configured here:

Auto Attendant 1
PrimaryLine-> ? (Make sure 'PSTN Line' is chosen.)

Thanks all for responding to my questions.

Since I was able to make bridge call to to US phone number when testing the unit in the US, I assumed all settings were at correct values. However when I check the Auto atendant  primary line now, it's not showing PSTN. So I now have to enter **8 + number to make bridge calls and it seems to work OK. I still experienced a couple cases of disconnected while the transfer was being made. I will follow your suggestion with syslog to see if this can be resolved.

Thanks again.
