Ringtone changed since adding Callcentric on SP2

This is to point out that the rings are defaulted to different patterns on purpose.  With an Obi110, you have two possible voice services, SP1 and SP2 (add in a third one if you count incoming calls from the PSTN line) that ring one analog phone. With different ring patterns you can tell which SP service the ringing call is coming from/coming "in on".

However, CallCentric with CNAM on SP2 used with GV on SP1 sort of negates the purpose of needing to know which service the call arrives on, you want that arrangement to be seamless and operate as one unit, all outgoing is on SP1 and all incoming is on SP2.

I was a bit confused as to why my voip.ms ringer on my SP2 was ringing all strange. I was not aware that the OBi had different ringers for different services. It would be nice if they made this a little more obvious and allowed it to be easily disabled from the web interface but I can confirm that this did change the ringer back to regular.

I think you want you want to make the following changes (Voice Services>>>SP2 Service):

X_ServProvProfile    B
X_RingProfile           A
X_CodecProfile        A

I think the reason for the different rings by default is to let you know which number was dialed. You make a good point that it would be nice to allow the non-"expert" web  select which ring pattern should be used for each SP.
