How can I call another trusted device directly bypasing Auto Attendant

I'm a newbie -- I tried searching for answer before posting...

How can I call another trusted Device directly bypassing Auto Attendant?

Right now, when I dial **9<Obi Number>, I get the Auto Attendant on that Device, and then I have to press "1" to continue the call, which rings the phone on the Device.

I would like to bypass Auto Attendant and directly ring the phone on the device.

Note: I do not want to disable/turn-off Auto Attendant.

If you wish to keep access to the auto attendant in the trusted OBi, but also be able to call it directly, then this can be done if you can make changes to the remote “trusted” OBi.

Your OBi = 200123456
Remote OBi = 200654321

In your OBi set up a speed dial in this format:
pp(ob200654321*1001)

In the remote OBi add this rule at the front of:
Voice Services -> OBiTALK Service -> InboundCallRoute:
{(200123456)>(1001):ph},{existing rules …


If you set your speed dial in slot four, then dialling 4# will call the remote OBi phone.

I understand everything except what does "1001" do? Is 1001 a code for voice mail or a user id? etc?

"1001" is simply a number I created to be different from other "real" numbers. If the remote OBi sees digits "1001" with CallerID 200123456, then it will route the call to the phone. You can use any number you like so long as it is the same in the speed dial in your OBi and the InboundCallRoute rule in the remote OBi.

If anyone wants to be a bit more creative using OBi202s, then you could use something like "1001" for Phone1 and "1002" for Phone2 in the remote OBi202.

in the InboundCallRoute (OBiTALK Service Settings) obi receiver will be better if you remove the obi number of the obi caller .
