The only WiFi dongle that will work is the one sold by Obihai, for the reason that drgeoff mentioned...the OBi needs to see the exact vendor ID, which is hard-coded into the ROM on the dongle.

Otherwise, buy the bridge device he mentioned, and plug an Ethernet cable into it and into your OBi.
