add new obi 100 device failure

hello,
i just got a new obi 100 device and been trying to add as new device on dashboard, igot the response from the server that the number (**5 xxxx)has been sent to the server but never got a response back and keep failing.
please advice.

1. Check to be sure the OBi device's power LED solid green. If the power light (LED) is blinking green, that means the OBi can't get an IP address from your router. Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected to the OBi and the router. If available check if there is a link light (LED) on the router port where the Ethernet cable connects. If the LED behavior appears to be faulty, try another Ethernet cable.
2. Can you call **9-222-222-222 ? If not, make sure your router's firewall is not blocking traffic from the OBi. Click Here for more.

by the way, i haveset up successfully another obi 100 in the past. this is the 1st time i am seeing this issue.
obi experts, please advise.
at this point , i am very disappointed as obihai must have changed something that created this failure which was not experienced in the past with previous obi100

it is hard for me to understand that this issue is only happening to my obi100.
am I missing anything about this.
this issue is very much reproduceable and i am surprised that obihai is not doing anything about helping in resolving this issue? very frustrating.
