DSL connection

My DSL speed is up to 5MB/s down, and a pitiful 340kb/s up (supposed to be 1MB/s, which it only does when it feels like it).
I cannot do more testing now (this is my vacation home and I am not longer there), but I seem to have detected and interference between the phone(s) and the dsl line.  Yes, I have filters, properly installed, My house is far from the central (I remember a technical saying: "Never again" after the installation), and I suppose the dsl signal is rather weak.  So, this would point to something else than the OBI, although of course, it was not easy to diagnose.  In a way, this is good, as understanding the real causes is the only way to find a solution, and I'd rather it not be a problem with the OBI ... :)
