Installation of OBI100 with naked DSL and existing home wiring

The DSL is located in a room inconvenient for a phone. Is it possible to use the existing home phone wiring so that a cordless phone could be plugged into and used in other rooms? I imagine I'd need the 110 as the Obi would have to be plugged into the wall to do what I'm trying to do, right?
