No LAN connection on OBI 100

I have an OBI 100 since about five weeks and it worked great.
Since yesterday it doesn't get a LAN connection. The LED for power is solid red. The LAN port on the router doesn't show a connection. I have connected a notebook to the LAN cable and it works. So, I am sure that the router and the LAN cable are OK.

What can I do?

I make three assumptions:

1.  You've already tried disconnecting and reconnecting the power without improvement.

2.  You already tried a factory reset. http://obihai.com/faq/Troubleshooting-sec/My-power-LED-is-red
If the link to the procedure isn't working, see http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=28.0.  Although only the OBi110 is mentioned, the hole in the bottom method should also apply to the 100.

3.  You are in the US.

Probably best to contact OBi. http://obihai.com/faq/Troubleshooting-sec/anyone-I-can-contact

This helped! My settings were still there.

Yes.

Thank you!

Petere, I suggest you try to give the OBi100 a static IP address on the router using the MAC address of the OBi100 then power cycle both.

@LeoKing.

My interpretation of Petere's reply is that his OBi100 is working again.  How else could he know that his settings were still there?

LeoKing

I only suggested the OP set a fixed IP address for the OBi100. I never said your suggestion didn't work for the OP.

The OBI 100 worked again for half an hour. Then the LED turned solid red again. The router also doesn't show a connection. I tried a hard reset again and a reset over the phone, but the LED stays red. I think the hardware is broken. I'll send it back now.

Yup, hopefully the replacement will work well for you.
