I received my OBi100 yesterday from amazon, it worked for one day then the red LED went on solid.

Did a factory reset as specified http://www.obihai.com/FAQ.php#How-to-Factory-Reset

Still solid red. Any ideas?

Contact OBi. Expect them to replace the unit.

Hi James,

Unfortunately it appears the OBi is not functioning properly.

If you have purchased the unit from Amazon in the last 30 days you may
return it
for a full refund with free shipping back (reason "defective").
In addition, instead of refund, you may also ask for an exchange.

Please put a Post-IT note on the OBi with mark "Defective"

I'm a little surprised that they want it sent back to amazon. That was my first choice anyway. Some manufacturers would rather handle it themselves so as not to look bad in front of the big retailers.

No worries. I'll update as things devolop.

Received the new unit from amazon yesterday, powered up, flashing green power led, rebooted and all is now well.  Grin
