obi202 and obiwifi

i have been using the obi202 since last year and it was working good connected to a lan network, i have  moved to a different condo and the only available internet is wifi, so i ordered the obiwifi dongle, tried to set it up, the problem is after i login on the wifi page, i see the text OBiWiFi and the words "Wifi is turned off" underneath it. i try to click the power button on the right side and the text change to "scanning for networks..." for a few seconds then change back to "WiFi is turned off" am i missing something in the setting up of the wifi dongle? please help... thanks

Remember this is for the 2.4 Ghz. This will not connect to a 5 Ghz.

thanks for the reply, but i dont think the 5ghz is it, my iphone 4 and 3 can see wifi signals i dont think they can detect 5ghz. Also i notice the usb dongle doesnt go all the way in the obiwifi could that be the reason? i probably gonna try updating the firmware maybe that would fix it... i hope
