GV - cannot archive new voice messages, weird

Not sure if I should post it here or in GV (that is google support) but to let you know, once I updated to that new firmware that allows to track google voice messages I cannot archive them anymore (delete).

The way it goes, someone calls, leaves a message, my phone would tell me I got new voice mail. I dial my GV number, enter my pin, listen to the message(s) press 7 for each, it tells me that I have archived the message, then at the very end once I go through all messages it tells me you have X amount of NEW messages, to listen to them press 1... Same thing again, same messages, I press 7, it says it has archived them but it does not. Messages are still as new in the system, the new message flag does not go away, I cannot get rid of them. The only way is to go to the google voice through the browser and delete them there...

I used my google voice number since the very beginning of google voice era. I was invited to beta when it just started, I was able to score a very easy to remember number since I had first pick. Anyway, just saying it just started doing this to the voice mail, never before. Thus, I lean to blame OBi somewhat in this weird situation.

Any thoughts?

There are several threads concerning this and it appears to be a google voice problem because checking messages at google voice gives the same problem.

Recently I have seen changes in my google voice in that even when I answer calls they still show up in my account as missed calls.
