Quote from: CLTGreg on August 21, 2013, 04:25:53 AMI agree with going to Anveo but why couldn't you port to GV? I know it isn't guaranteed but it worked for me a couple of months ago. Luckily if you have a prepay you can keep it on the Tmobile for cheap since their funds last 90 days (last I checked). That's what I did.I'd check in with the GV forums for ideas if you haven't already.
Quote from: MichaelC on August 21, 2013, 10:28:48 AMWith that being said. I already have a Google Voice number that I use for all my promotional and web marketing. Would it be possible to use my current GV number as my LAND line and port my T Mobile (Old Land Line Number) to a VOIIP service using the OBI 110?

Quote from: RFord on August 21, 2013, 03:35:06 PMYou could potentially also have problems porting your number to a VOIP Provider also, since "WINDSTREAM NORTH CAROLINA, INC. " seem to be the only CLEC serving that particular Rate Centerhttp://www.localcallingguide.com/lca_prefix.php?npa=704&nxx=846&x=&ocn=®ion=&lata=&switch=&pastdays=0&nextdays=0QuoteNPA: 704 [Rate centres in NPA 704] [Dial plan for NPA 704]NXX: 846NPA-NXX-X Rate Centre Region Switch OCN LATA Eff date Disc date Map704-846 Matthews NC MTHWNCXB84F 0476 WINDSTREAM NORTH CAROLINA, INC. [link] 422 mapYou should check with Anveo, Callcentric, VOIP.ms, etc. to see if they can port your number or wait a few more days and check to see if Goggle Voice can indeed port your number. Of course you can just drop the number all together and get a brand new number (GV or otherwise) and use that number as your new "landline" number.Bandwidth.com has a presence in the 704-848-6QuoteNPA: 704 [Rate centres in NPA 704] [Dial plan for NPA 704]NXX: 848Block: 6NPA-NXX-X Rate Centre Region Switch OCN LATA Eff date Disc date Map704-848-6 Lilesville NC 998E BANDWIDTH.COM CLEC, LLC - NC [link] 422 2008-11-22 http://www.localcallingguide.com/lca_prefix.php?npa=704&nxx=848&x=6&ocn=®ion=&lata=&switch=&pastdays=0&nextdays=0
Quote from: MichaelC on August 21, 2013, 09:07:41 PMThank you very much for your post. I did call TW and they said the port hasn't fully been completed and cycled through all the channels. I will probably just keep the number for a few more moths on a T mobile pre paid and let all calls go to VM.I will wait a few days and try to port with google again!
