I agree with going to Anveo but why couldn't you port to GV? I know it isn't guaranteed but it worked for me a couple of months ago. Luckily if you have a prepay you can keep it on the Tmobile for cheap since their funds last 90 days (last I checked). That's what I did.
I'd check in with the GV forums for ideas if you haven't already.
Greg do you live in Charlotte as well? GV just says it's not supporting my area

Ooops! This number appears to be from an area we don't currently support.
With that being said. I already have a Google Voice number that I use for all my promotional and web marketing. Would it be possible to use my current GV number as my LAND line and port my T Mobile (Old Land Line Number) to a VOIIP service using the OBI 110?
Yes, I'm in Charlotte. I ported from BellSouth to TMobile to GV. I'm not sure about your last question. I'm sleep hungover atm. Without reading that other thread referenced above, it sounds like your port to Tmobile hasn't settled down yet. I'm wondering whose database it is in. For me it took one day to get it to TMobile and one day to transfer it to GV.
How long ago was the process? You might want to call TWC and see if your number is still showing as being in their database.

You could potentially also have problems porting your number to a VOIP Provider also, since "WINDSTREAM NORTH CAROLINA, INC. " seem to be the only CLEC serving that particular Rate Center

You should check with Anveo, Callcentric, VOIP.ms, etc. to see if they can port your number or wait a few more days and check to see if Goggle Voice can indeed port your number. Of course you can just drop the number all together and get a brand new number (GV or otherwise) and use that number as your new "landline" number.

Thank you very much for your post. I did call TW and they said the port hasn't fully been completed and cycled through all the channels. I will probably just keep the number for a few more moths on a T mobile pre paid and let all calls go to VM.
I will wait a few days and try to port with google again!
