Voicemail Notification on Obi110 does not reset

I have the Obi110 with Verizon telephone service and voicemail. I noticed that now that the Obi110 box is in place, my phone no longer shows me a "studder" tone or blinking light notifying there is voicemail waiting. So I changed the MWIEnable, X_VMWIEnable, and MessageWaiting boxes to "checked" in the SP1 setting of voice services on the device UI (not Obi Talk).

Now the phone blinks and studders but it does not reset back after I listen to the voicemail message. How can I fix this ??
