OBI110 - how to forward landline to Google Voice after x number of rings
(1/1)
MooreK:
I'm an idiot. I had the OBi110 setup earlier this year to forward landline calls after 4 rings to Google Voicemail but my configuration got whacked and now I can't figure out how I did it. I know it took me a while to get it done the first time and I could have sworn I saved the steps but cannot find them.
Anyway, if someone has the steps to do this that would be great. I am only doing this configuration to keep a barebones landline service and have Google as the voicemail provider. I know I had to put in configuration information for SP1 and SP2 but whatever I am doing now is wrong. Yeah, I've looked in this forum and everywhere else. Thanks!

I think you would need 2 GV accounts.
DID 4801111111 on SP1.
DID 4802222222 on SP2.
Physical Ports -> Line Port
CallForwardOnNoAnswerEnable: Checked
CallForwardOnNoAnswerNumber: sp2(4801111111)
CallForwardOnNoAnswerRingCount:4 (This might have to be adjusted)
In GV account 1 (4801111111) setup 4802222222 as a contact and forward it to voicemail.
I did not test this setup.
