I have an Obihai 202 and I am having problems registering it to my SIP provider.  I keep getting "Register Failed: 401 Unauthorized".  I am able to make outbound calls to my provider, but no incomming.  If I keep on refreshing the ObiTalk SIP setup page and eventually it registers, but when I unplug it or make any changes I get the same issue again.  Sometimes it will register after several save attempts, but sometimes I have to click save and refresh more than 10 times before it will register.

Through this process I am able to make outbound calls, but not recieve any calls.

Any suggestion on getting the ATA to register all the time?

Do you have SIP ALG capability in your router? If so disable it.

I am using ATT Uverse and from what I read in another forum the ATT router has ALG on by default and cant be turned off.

Is there an alternative solution besides switching ISP's?

Can you get the ATT router put into bridge mode and use another router?

Right now I cant do this, but I added the router to the DMZ and still wont register. I will take it with me tomorrow to a different location and see if it will register.

Thanks
