Anveo with Obi100

(1/1)

First, let me start by stating that I am by no means new to VOIP.  I'm no expert, but I do have a basic understanding of how SIPS operate.  I have tried for hours to get a basic configuration set up with two Anveo numbers to work with the OBI100 and can not get it to make outgoing calls on SP1 by dialing just the 7 digits.  My SP1 number is a US number in the 202 area code.  My SP2 number is in the UK.  How do I set this up so that when I want to make a call in the UK, I dial **2 (then the area code and number) and when I want to make a local call in the US, I just pick up the phone and call the 7 digit number for my local area code and 1+area code for non-local.  I had SP2 setup correctly, and thought I had SP1 setup, but every call I make I get a busy signal. :-[

If you can't work it out based on the above post then log in to the obi.
Click status.
Click Call history.
Let us know how the Obi is sending the number out.

It should look something like this.  Even if you dial only 7 or 10 digits 11 should be sent for a US number. The Obi will automatically add  1 plus your local area code when it is set up correctly.
