How do I auto provision TWO Anveo numbers in one account?

MikeHObi:
With Anveo there are Accounts, and there are phone numbers.

Accounts have SIP configuration data.  Phone numbers do not.  Phone numbers have devices assigned to them (via their call flow) one of which can be any SIP device on any Sub account you have access to.

If you add a second "sub" account you gain an additional SIP configuration that you can then bind to an additional phone number.

By having 2 phone numbers on one account, those should work independent and each have their own call flow by default.  In that call flow you can route both numbers to your sip device, but you can't configure them independently on your Obi.  you need another sub account to use another slot on your obi.

Now you might be able to configure an outgoing call flow that allows you to enter star codes to pick what number to use when dialing out, but if your account allows an outgoing call flow it probably allows the sub accounts.

Alan, they were NOT pointed to the same call flow so I changed the second number to the same call flow as the first number and was unsuccessful in calling that number. I then tried changing the call flow to the SIP that is registered on the primary account and was unsuccessful there as well. Thanks for the suggestions though.

CLTGreg:
I wonder if Obihai would be any help here. I have not tried a second number with the Obi Anveo account and I'm not sure what would happen if you changed the 202 to outbound a second number. Incoming should still work for free but I am not sure about outbound if it reverts to the per minute plan or if it uses the same bucket as the first. I hope it's the latter and at some point I need to know.

That said, you could setup a regular Anveo account for the second number and direct that do a different port on the Obi. Incoming calls would still be included but not outbound and there's an additional E911 fee. Not ideal but basically what I'm doing until I combine them but these questions need to be cleared up and it looks like I may need to try the second number on the Obi plan to see if it works for me. I'm just chicken to burn $6 to do it.

One more thing to try as a test not a permanent solution. In Avneo can you set up your unlimited number to forward to your working number. Then call the unlimited plan number and see if that works.

Panachequeens:
Well, here was MY solution, albeit maybe not the most economical - I asked Anveo to change my Obi-Anveo account to a FREE account. Voila - I got the SIP credentials, plugged them into the Obi Configurator for Anveo and then set up the one available sub-account. A guess a "good" deal is only one that actually WORKS for you :)

Thanks all!
