should have checked the call history first, instead of trying to trouble shoot calls that never existed (according to the Obi).

Obi tech support pushed new software to my box and fixed the "no ringing" problem.  Thank you all for your support.

Was it fixed in the 1.2.1 (Build: 2283) that was just released (is that what your box currently has)?
