IPKall Toll Free digitmap trick needed

(1/1)

ipse:
Embarrassing, I know...

I need to change my VG6 Digitmap so that it becomes something like:

18xxxxxxxx --> SP2(8xxxxxxxxx@voiper.ipkall.com)

as my ITSP is SP2 and IPKall requires to strip the "1" prefix before the Toll Free number

Could not figure out a way to make the change and I had to program a few TF  numbers in Speed Dial...that works just fine.

TIA

azrobert:
VG6 DigitMap: (<1:>8(00|88|77|66|55|44)xxxxxxx)

Anything before the colon is used to match the dialed number then removed.
Anything after the colon is added to the dialed number.
If you are only adding to the dialed number the colon is optional.

ipse:
Thanks azrobert...the removing "1" part I was able to figure out, but it does not appear to append the voiper.ipkall.com part.
I had (<1:>xxxxxxxxx) - your suggestion is better for TF numbers.

Weird, as I switched to ideasip (another free TF provider) and that works fine with the same digitmap (or my rudimentary one).

DUH!

I managed to figure out that I had user credentials provisioned for the VG, which IPKall didn't like....
They do mention that you "don't have to have an account to make TF calls" but I didn't take that as "do not register in order to be able to place a call".
