Obi110 phone port primary line setting not persistent
(1/1)
ammoun:
Hello,
I choose PSTN from the drop down menu, reboot then save and the setting goes back to SP1. Could anyone think of a different setting that explains this behavior? I want to make sure the default outgoing line is PSTN. Thanks

Configuring your OBi via the web interface might be the cause of your problem. If you don't turn off auto-provisioning ObiTalk will overlay your changes.
This is how to disable auto provisioning if you use the web interface:
System Management => Auto Provisioning
Under OBiTalk Provisioning:
Method: Disabled.

Thanks for your answer, you made me think of other ways I could make changes.
I applied the changes from the web interface from a local computer in the same network
When I logged in from Obitalk website in the expert mode, I found an exclamation mark:
I didn't change the auto provisioning yet but could you tell me if few words what that setting is useful for please? I looked online but still in doubt.
One more thing, What is the other way to change the default PSTN setting if not from the web interface please?
Thanks!
azrobert:
You can only provision the OBi using one method.
If you use the Web interface OBiTalk auto-provisioning must be disabled.
If you use OBiTalk then auto-provisioning must be enabled.

To change Primary Line via OBiTalk:
To the right of Primary Line Uncheck OBiTalk Setting
The Box under Device Default will become checked.
Uncheck Device Default.
Make your change.
I don't use OBiTalk. I think you just click Save next.
