Help-Obi to obi calls not working
obeewankeenobee:
I have set up 3 obi devices in 3 homes:
1. My home (US)
2. My parents (India)
3. My in-laws (India)
We usually use obi to obi calls. As of the last few days, 2 and 3 can call 1, but we (1) cannot call India.
I am presuming the problem is with my device. So far, restarted my device, but it did not help. I have not done much with the device, so pretty much a newbie.

I got the same problem. I have two phones and one soft phone under one account:
A - via OBi202 in CA (Comcast)
B - via OBi100 in NY (RCN)
C(soft) - via HTC One in CA (Comcast)
All three were working fine until last Friday (7/18). Now whenever I try to make the OBiTalk call from A to either B or C I will get a busy tone. But A doesn't have any issue when receiving the OBiTalk call from either B or C. everything works fine between B and C. A still works fine when making and receiving normal phone call. I re-powered OBi200 without any luck. Does anyone have idea on how the issue can be resolved? Thanks

Can 1/A make calls to the test number **9 222 222 222 ?
obeewankeenobee:
Good idea. I will test it as soon as I get back from work.
The other calls to US based phone numbers, routed through my vestalink number, are just fine.
Yesterday:
a. Hard reset the instrument through the reset button at the bottom.
b. Soft reset through ***6.
c. Deleted Vestalink and then reinstalled.
Nothing has worked.

How are you calling the other OBi?
Are you dialing **9123456789 where 123456789 is the OBi number of the target device?
You can also setup a speed dial like this: pp(ob123456789)
Are you getting any error message?
Check the OBi call history for errors.
From an internet browser enter the IP address of the OBi.
The UserID is admin
Click on Status
Click on Call History
You can try deleting the OBi from the dashboard, then re-adding it.
All obi's should have a green status indicator in the dashboard.
