Installed OBi 100 and need to install more phones in other rooms of home. Help!

I have OBi 100, newbie and I don't know how to get my other lines to work. Any advise would be appreciated. TIA

Assuming you wish the other phones to work off of the single voip line, disconnect the PSTN line at the customer interface box so that it is entirely disconnected from your current wiring.  Then use your current wiring for your attached phones.  You need to attach a cable from the OBi phone port to one of your current phone jacks.

The maximum number of phones the OBi will ring is determined by the REN value of each attached phone.  The aggregate of the REN values cannot exceed the REN capacity of the OBI which I believe is 5.

Of course the other thing you can do is replace the other phones with cordless phones working off of a single base unit that is attached to the OBi.

FWIW, My Obi100 didn't like the long length of the house wiring.  I had been using it (and still can) with a GVMate dongle.  The beauty of the Obi is the small size, and no computer needed (unlike the GVMate).  I put it on the Ethernet hub on the other side of the house and hooked it straight in with a short cord to the cordless phones and it's actually better that way. 

If you can hook it up that way I'd advise it.  It seems sensitive to 50+' line lengths.

FWIW, I wired my house with just 26ga twisted pair for the phones & my obi100 drives 6 telephones no problem. If a wall jack has any dirt & corrosion in it they can load down the obi so that it thinks a phone is off hook. I had to replace two unused wall jacks with new ones because of this.
