Does any one know how to get one cell phone to ring on 3 OBi1032s?

I forgot to pass CallerID.

OBiBlueTooth -> InboundCallRoute:
{ph,sp1(anything@192.168.1.101:5060;ui=$1),sp1(anything@192.168.1.102:5060;ui=$1)}

I made that change.  It works.  Thanks.

The lag is so bad with a microcell that I think doubling the trips up to the sat would make the call very lagged.

Is there a way to be able to pick up one of the 1032s that does not have the BT adapter and make a call using the cell phone?  I can on the 1032 with the BT adapter, but not the ones without the adapter.

Not sure if this is possible or not.

Non-BT OBi1032
Change the current dummy trunk to:
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile C -> General -> DigitMap:
(1xxxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|xxxxxxx)
(or your requirements for BT)

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile C -> SIP -> ProxyServer: 192.168.1.32
(IP addr of BT-OBi1032)

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile C -> SIP -> RegistrarServerPort: 5062
(Port# of SP3 on BT-OBi1032)

Voice Services -> SP3 Service -> AuthUserName: OBi1032
Voice Services -> SP3 Service -> X_RegisterEnable: (unchecked)
Voice Services -> SP3 Service -> X_ServProvProfile: C

BT OBi1032
Change the inbound route on current dummy trunk to:
Voice Services -> SP3 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute: {OBi1032>(xx.):bt},{ph}

On the Non-BT OBi1032 dial **3 followed by the outbound number

I have a question I want to get your thoughts on.  I am currently using OBIPlus, but the BT does not work correctly with OBIPlus.  Every time I get a call on my cell and answer on a 1032, I get a sound like the other paryt is pressing buttons on their phone whenever they talk.  Do you think if I ditched OBiPlus and used this setup with the 202 as the main device I would still have the problem or do you think the problem is with OBIPlus?

I have replaced my 202, the OBiBT dongle, and my cell phone and it still did not fix the problem.  When I plug the BT dongle into the 1032 and use the above procedure to answer the calls on other 1032s, I do not have a problem.

azrobert

This is only a guess, but it does sound like an OBiPlus problem.

Do you still have the old OBi202? You can remove OBiPlus try testing with it.

Is there a limit as to how many phones you can ring at the same time.  I have the BT dongle on the old 202 and I can only get 2 out of the 3 1032s to ring when a call comes in on my cell.  I can call out on each phone, but I cannot get them all to ring.  Here is the inbound digit map for BT.

{ph,sp4(6@192.168.0.61:5063;ui=$1),sp4(6@192.168.0.62:5063;ui=$1),sp4(6@192.168.0.63:5063;ui=$1)}

I shortened the password to only one character to see if there was a length issue but that did not help.  I can change the order in which the IP addresses appear in the digit map and the first 2 ring, but the 3rd does not.

azrobert

I thought the limit was 4 devices including the phone port, so it should work.
Try this:
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> MaxSessions: 5

If that doesn't work, here is another thing you can do:
Use: {ph,sp4(6@192.168.0.61:5063;ui=$1),sp4(6@192.168.0.62:5063;ui=$1)}

Then in OBi 192.168.0.62 set SP4 inbound route to:
{ph,sp4(6@192.168.0.63:5063;ui=$1)}

I assume by your post, you're not having the audio problems without OBiPlus.

Boykin

Thanks.  The max sessions default was 2.  I changed it to 5 and now everything works.

I have not tested the audio quality yet.  I did not get to work on this last night and it is 10:53 pm here now.  I will test out the audio quality tomorrow night or over the weekend.

I appreciate your help.

Another question.

I am in the process of leaving OBiPlus.  Since BT will not work correctly with it, I have no need for it.  How would I go about setting up an extension on each 1032 so I can transfer calls from one to another?  I would like to do this internally without going out over the internet.  I am still on satellite internet and I don't want the lag.

The easiest way would be to use ObiLink http://www.obitalk.com/obinet/pg/obhdev/obilink but I don't know if the calls would be internal or go over the internet.  (I have only one OBi device that supports ObiLink so have never been able to try it. Perhaps you could report your findings with it.)

azrobert

You can route the call like you do in the inbound route on the BT OBi202, except use a speed dial.

1032-1 set as ext#10:
Speed dial#20: sp4(0@192.168.0.62:5063;ui=10)
Speed dial#30: sp4(0@192.168.0.63:5063;ui=10)

1032-2 set as ext#20:
Speed dial#10: sp4(0@192.168.0.61:5063;ui=20)
Speed dial#30: sp4(0@192.168.0.63:5063;ui=20)

1032-3 set as ext#30:
Speed dial#10: sp4(0@192.168.0.61:5063;ui=30)
Speed dial#20: sp4(0@192.168.0.62:5063;ui=30)

Boykin

Thanks.  I got the extensions set up and working.

I tested the cell phone and I still have the issue, so I guess it is a problem with the 202s and not OBiPlus.  I am going to try disabling all the codecs and try one at a time to see if I can find one that makes a difference.

Is there anything else that could be causing this problem?

azrobert

Do you have the current firmware installed?
Did you remove the OBiPlus firmware and not just stopped using it?
I never used OBiPlus, so I don't know how to remove it.

QuoteWhen I plug the BT dongle into the 1032 and use the above procedure to answer the calls on other 1032s, I do not have a problem.

If it works, why not use the BT adapter on one OBi1032?
On the non-BT 1032s, point the SP4 proxy to the BT 1032's IP address.
Set the IP Phone's Primary Line on the non-BT 1032s to SP4
Set the IP Phone's Primary Line on the BT 1032 to BT

Things I forgot.
If you want to pass CNAM, on the device using the BT adapter:
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile D SIP -> X_SpoofCallerID: Checked

On the BT InboundCallRoute the ";ui=$1" is now optional and can be removed.

If you want a CNAM when you call an extension, set it here:
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> CallerIDName: Extension 10

Thanks.  I did not factory reset the 202.  I just made the modifications necessary to get what we talked about working.  I was going to use the 202 so I would not have to redo everything else, but I have scrapped that plan.  I have factory reset, deleted from ObiTalk and added all of my 1032s back. I am going to use one of them as the main and have the BT and SIP lines on it and have everything forwarded to the other 2 using the directions you have given me.

I made the decision to scrap the 202s for now when I started experimenting with disabling codecs on the 202.  The 1032s would ring but you could not answer or make calls from them.    I completely hosed codec profile A.  I put everything back the way it was but it still did not work.  I changed to B and everything worked again.  Once I get all my settings off of the 202s, I will delete them from OBITalk and factory reset them to get rid of OBiPlus.  I think I going to put the 202s in storage until I need them for something else.

Thanks for all your help.

Boykin

Another question.

Does anyone have any idea why a SIP line from a local telco can be set up on a 202 using the wizard and work fine, but does not on a 1032.  I can receive calls on the 1032, but I cannot call out.  The SIP line will say registered on the 1032.  I only had the SIP line on one device at a time in case there was a conflict.

azrobert

Did you check the call history to see that the call is routed to the correct trunk? What happens, any error message or code?
