problem with Obi200 and sip phone
ianobi:
I'm glad that you found the solution. Generally direct ip calling to an OBi is easy if the other device is in the same router subnet and can call without registration.

X_Proxy is used when you wish to get the ip phone to register with the OBi200.
ianobi,
I didn't know about this feature. I got the Phonerlite softphone to register to my OBi200, but the 3CX softphone fails.
Thanks

I think that the OBi2xxx series is the only one to have X_Proxy. I'm guessing it was a function needed to make OBiPLUS work.
I don't have an OBi2xx, so I'll continue to find ways around calling without registration.
Interesting what you said about Phonerlite and 3CX. Phonerlite is the only softphone I have found so far that works in every OBi related scenario - unregisterd, registered with OBiAPP and now registered directly with an OBi202. It also seems to work with any other provider and for direct ip to ip calling. Not a bad achievement for a project done by one guy sat at home!
