connecting OBi110s to legacy PBX analog Ports Via OBi110s line ports

I have an older PBX non VOIP we have recently acquired 250,000 square feet of warehousing down the road we have connectivity between our manufacturing plant and warehouse via a wireless bridge and 24 access points installed and working in the warehouse. What I want to do is connect the line port of six separate OBi110 units to  analog PBX ports then via our wireless bridge connect our warehousing staffs iPhone's back to each OBi110. I want staff in our manufacturing plant to be able to dial the station number of the PBX analog ports which would route out  to the iPhone s in the warehouse and vice versa if I can get that to work on down the road I will look into WiFi sip handsets for our warehouse staff. How would I configure the OBi110s and iPhone aps to achieve this?

I think the 1st step is to get the OBi110 to interface with the PBX.
Sometimes the default settings on the OBi110 will not work with this type of equipment.
If it doesn't then someone else will have to suggest configuration changes on the OBi110.
I suggest using a normal analog phone plugged into the OBi110's phone port for the initial test.
Dial # on the analog phone.
Do you get dial tone from the PBX?
Next dial a station number.
Does it connect?

How many digits in a station number?
How many people will have iPhones?

You will have to install a softphone on each iPhone.
The softphone must be able to dial out WITHOUT registration.
You need to assign a static IP address to each iPhone.
Some routers can assign static IP addresses by mac addresss of the phone.
Maybe the iPhone can set a static address (I don't know).
It will still work with a dynamic IP address, but if it changes the OBi110 configuation will have to be updated.
This is enough to get started.

1st step failed when i dial # from the single line phone i get "no service configured error"
Stations on the PBX are 3 digit
Will have 6 users

The key thing to check on the Line Port attachment to the PBX is the on-hook voltage shown on the analog line.  You can do this by logging into the OBi110 and viewing the voltage under the Status Tab
Status --> PHONE & LINE Status --> TipRingVoltage

The voltage on a PSTN line is typically +/- 48v.  The OBi uses this voltage level to determine if the line is in use.  Often PBX lines use a lower on-hook voltage and this means that you need to adjust the LineInUseVoltageThreshold setting under the Line Port.  If the setting is higher than the on-hook voltage then the OBi will not take the line off hook to dial.  Usually the setting is about half way between the on-hook voltage and the off-hook voltage with the polarity disgarded.  The default setting is 25v.
Physical Interfaces --> LINE Port --> Port Settings --> LineInUseVoltageThreshold

If I run a check on my OBi110 and I set the LineInUseVoltageThreshold above my Line voltage when I dial # I do get the no service configured error that you reported.

It is important to get the basic connection with the LINE port working before spending time on the configuration.

Thinking about your requirements there are several ways to configure your application.  The way Azrobert is suggesting is good and I would pick that if I could meet the static ip address requirement and I could find an iPhone softphone that will call without registration.  Other possibilities would include your own digital asterisk type PBX or a 3rd party server where the iPhones could maintain registration.  Third parties would include using the OBiTalk OBiON app or an external PBX such as offered by PBXes.  I see in the OBiON Subject in this forum that the new IOS 8 IPhone OS is not working with the OBiON app which is troubling for that alternative.

Edit: Another 3d party technique would be to use extension type accounts for each iPhone at a voip provider.  With this technique you would have to give a dial tone or IVR from the OBi110 to the iPhone caller when they want to call an extension as opposed to them just dialing the PBX extension number.

Thanks for all your help guys ! After fiddling around with the voltage settings a bit the OBi110 now connects reliability with the analog port on the PBX. Using the analog phone port  I can dial # and get PBX intercom dial tone I can also dial station to station and dial 9 to place outside lines. Yea!! Moving on My router has the ability to "Manually Assigned IP around the DHCP list (Max Limit : 64)" so i just created a rule using the test iPhone's mac address that part is done. Now for the last bit, is there a soft-phone someone can recommend that will dial without registration ?
