Motohead:
Wile I'm on the subject does anyone have any recommendations for a cordless (WiFi) sip phone ?

Motohead:
rolandh thanks for the recommendation there is a lot of configuration options in that app do you have any pointers on how to get it working with the OBi110 I have followed azrobert's instructions below on the setup of the  OBi110 but i cant connect to it I'm also not finding where to turn off registration

rolandh:
I have to admit that Groundwire's settings are not all that intuitive but give this a try.

Settings>Accounts>+>Generic SIP Account

Use azrobert's instructions to configure the SIP account (Enter SIP Account Details). Next tap Advanced Settings, then change Incoming Calls to Off.

Motohead:
nope still cant get it to connect
in the X_InboundCallRoute is the xxx supposed to be replaced with anything? i have tried
iPhone1>(xxx):li
iPhone1>(iPhone1):li
user1>(xxx):li
iPhone1>(xxx):li

in the AuthUserName i have iPhone1

in the groundwire app wants a password i have tried putting the password in AuthPassword but no change

my groundwire settings are
Title iPhone1
Username iPhone1
password 1115
Domain 192.168.1.174 (OBi110 Static IP address)
Display Name iPhone1
advanced settings
incomming calls off
nat Auto
Proxy 192.168.1.174
i can log into the OBI110 through my wireless network with my iPhone so i have IP connectivity

azrobert:
This is what you should use:
{iPhone1>(xxx):li}

The squiggly brackets are optional if you only have one rule, but I like to use them.
iPhone1 must match the UserID in your softphone.
xxx will match a 3 digit dialed number.
If both conditions are met, the call will be routed out the Line port.

Did you try dialing a 3 digit station number?
Sign into the OBi110 and check the call history.
Click Status on the left column then click Call History.

If there is nothing in the call history:
Change the X_InboundCallRoute back to the default "ph".
Now try another call.
This is to test if the call is getting to the OBi110.
The Phone port should ring.
You don't need to attach a phone to the Phone port.
The Phone port LED will flash.

Did you try an inbound call?
Did the iPhone ring?
