obi bluetooth adapter - ?bluetooth version

Hi
Anyone know what the bluetooth version is, of the obi adapter? I want to pair it with an android lollipop cellular, which is running the latest version of bluetooth (4.x I think)

I cant find the answer anywhere.

Currently am having connection problems with another device paired to that phone, which is runnng an early ie 2.x version of bluetooth, so am anxious to know what the obi bluetooth version is before I purchase it
