Sometimes it rings sometimes it does not,.. you need to make 5-10 attempts and hardly one time it rings the phone…

Same computer
Same ID number of the device
Same device, same browser and all the same parameters,..

Can someone explain me,… what is the science, that it rings one out of five times,… and otherwise not !

It works every time for me.  I don't think I have ever experienced a single failure with WebRTC.  It appears you have had issues with the Auto Attendant.  You could disable the Auto Attendant on incoming Obitalk calls.  Other then that I don't know what to try.

To disable the Auto Attendant:
Log in to the Obitalk portal
Select your Obi 202
Click Obi expert configuration at the bottom of the page.
Click "OK" on the pop up.
Click "enter Obi expert".
On the left click "Voice Service"
In the sub menu click "Obitalk service"
In the "InboundCallRoute" you will see something like {(290000000)>(xx.):SP1},{(290000000):aa},{ph,ph2}
Now change the "InboundCallRoute"  to ph,ph2
Once finished click submit at the bottom of the page.  Allow the Obi to reboot and test your new configuration.  Now the Auto Attendant will not pick up when a call comes in Via the Obitalk network. The caller will not need to press 1 to connect.

  ^^

Thx for your jelp.

I tried doing that,..

My "InboundCallRoute"  is like this:
{(290400758|510817313|510426852)>(xx.):SP1},{(290400758|510817313|510426852):aa},{ph,ph2}

Also I could not change anything as it does not allow to change/delete any of the above data.

???

YASH:
^^^ In fact,.. later I could change it. By removing a tic in a "next to" box.

I am also having a red color astonishment/exclamation symbol mark, next to that box which showed " Inboundcallroutine "

also next to that,
there was a ticmark on "obitalk settings."
When I took that ticmark off,  it automatically changed  the box to "ph.ph2"

And, after that, I  submitted it,.. rebooted my computer, delete cookies, fresh opened the dashboard again
and made sure that,.. now it shows up as ph,ph2,... etc. It does.

But still, it brings that voice message of giving options of press 1 / 2 / 3 on dialpad. So even after changing that, nothing has changed.

Also,. I have Mozzila Firefox and Google Chrome both.
This discontinuity of  phone ringing / not ringing,... happens in both.

I just tried couple of times,...
It still brings that dialpad pressing of options as usual,..

In google chrome,  while not logging in to obitalk,. and just by entering the "matching code" and then in the box the Device ID no. and allowing for the use of mic and speakers,...

The first two fake rings, I listen instantly ( your own rings-sounds - not the real ring sounds of the phone at the other hand )  BUT then the real phones (  I have two diff. lines and numbers for OBI202 ) never rings,...

unless you try couple of times,... then again loggin in,.
and once having that "press 1" voice message again, and then pressing 1,...

So, you need to struggle 4-5 times.

But, I doubt that if given simply the ID no of device to someone in other nation,
and if he tries,.. it will ring/not ring sometimes Yess and No in this case,. !

Unless,.. you also give him yr login data and tell him to struggle 4-5 times logging in and out, untill you hear the voice message,...
and then pressing 1 on dial pad,.. etc

Rosemot:
It works everytime for me too. Call quality is good.  Free call nothing more i can say..  THANKS OBI.. :)
