I'm back early and have a little time before my 2:30 appointment.
The following assumes SP4 is currently not used.

Log into OBiTalk
From the OBiTalk dashboard click Edit Profile on the left column.
At the bottom of the page check "Enable Obi Expert..."
Click Submit Query.
Now you can go directly to OBi Expert from the dashboard.

Click OBi Dashboard.
On the right of your OBi2xx is an icon with a red E.
Click on it to enter OBi Expert.

To navigate click on the titles with the +
Then click on a sub-title
Click on Service Providers
Then click ITSP Profile D SIP
The 1st parm listed is ProxyServer
There are 2 boxes to the right
To change the setting uncheck the box under OBiTalk Setting
Then uncheck the box under Device Default
Copy the value I posted in my Reply#64 and paste it into the empty space
Now find X_DnsSrvAutoPrefix
Uncheck both boxes on the right.
Click the box next to the parm to check it
Click Submit at the bottom of the page.
OBiTalk will download the configuration changes to the OBi and reboot it.
Wait until this process is complete before continuing to the next page.
The left and right LED on the OBI will be solid green.

-------------------------------------------
^^ I did  upto here,.... and  two red colors exclaimation marks showed up, next to the changes in those two lines.

also, on top of page,.. this message came,..

"Successfully saved OBi Expert config to OBiTALK."

-------------------------------------------------------

Now click on Service Providers then click on SP4 Service  ( Where? there is no SP4 service in that column, you mean,.. click on " voice service " ? Ok... I did there.  )
Use the same procedure as above to change the other setting listed in my Reply#64
After you Submit and the OBi reboots again:
Click on Status then click on System Status
Scroll down to SP4 Service Status
It should show SP4 Registered
--------------------------------------------
 It shows like this :
Registered (server=81.23.228.150:5060; expire in 51s)(UAP:5063)

Sir,..You did not tell me anywhere, about
what tic marks to put it back, the way it was initially, or what !! Is it OK?
------------------------------------------------

On the OBi2xx dial **412345678
Change 12345678 to the 2nd Sip2Sip account number

---------------
what do you mean by 2nd sip2sip acount number? ( my numeric digits before " @sip2sip.info "  ?

If I dial on my  regular OBI phone, it says,." the number you dialed **4abcdefgh is rejected by service provider, the reason is  404 "

--------------------------------------------------

To answer on Phonerlite click the green phone icon
To hangup click the red icon

Answer whom and dial to whom? I don't know what I am doing
and to whom I am dialing and on which number !!!!! Don't understand anything.

On the Phonerlite dial 87654321 and click the green phone icon
Change 87654321 to the OBi2xx's Sip2Sip account number
Answer the call on the OBi

-------------
^^ Confused. I don't know even what I am doing and to whom I am dialing and where and how.
By dialing on phonerlite, it opens a dialogue box showing application error and  then quickly  closes  the "phoner lite" main  dialogue box and everything.

-----------------------

I gave you instructions to install Phonerlite on a PC and Zoiper on an Android.

^^ Why i need phoner lite? Can't I dial by my OBI phone, you mean?

Your friend in India can use either or both.

^^ Confused. Are we excercising here PC to PC talk? I have no idea what we are doing here, totally confused.

The red exclamation mark means the value is not the default.

You got SP4 registered to Sip2Sip, so you must have found the correct place to add the settings. Correct?

Both the OBi and Phonerlite are registered to Sip2Sip.
This is good.

When dialing from the OBi, you are calling the Phonerlite app.
Dial **4 followed by the number used as UserName in the Phonerlite setup.
The Phonerlite app should start ringing.
You answer the call by clicking on the green phone icon.
To end the call click on the red phone icon.

When dialing from the Phonerlite, you are calling the phone attached to the OBi.
Dial the number used as AuthUserName in the SP4 setup then click the green phone icon.
The OBi phone should start ringing.

The 404 error is not good.
This is a Not Found error, so Sip2Sip could not find the account number you dialed.

This is not good. This is probably why you are getting the 404 error.
Start the Phonerlite app again.
At the bottom of the Phonerlite window, is the circle solid green and does it say Registered?
Please click on the Logbook tab.
Does it show any error message?

What Windows operating system do you have on your PC?

First I thank you for bearing with me, so patiently.

The red exclamation mark means the value is not the default.

I think, I did not put the tic marks back at any places, where it should be,
and also after "submit" button being pressed, I instantly got the message on top of page, and it did not hit thro the piece and taking time with going thro' red lights or any such,.....
So, my guess is, nthg had been established any properly.

Ok, that's what I did

I doubt, nthg has been established properly, yet.

Both the OBi and Phonerlite are registered to Sip2Sip.
This is good.

But with errors and not properly, that's what I think

When dialing from the OBi, you are calling the Phonerlite app.
Dial **4 followed by the number used as UserName in the Phonerlite setup.
The Phonerlite app should start ringing.

It does not ring, but speaks the same error.

You answer the call by clicking on the green phone icon.
To end the call click on the red phone icon.

When dialing from the Phonerlite, you are calling the phone attached to the OBi.
Dial the number used as AuthUserName in the SP4 setup then click the green phone icon.
