Call any OBi for FREE Right from Your WebRTC Capable Browser !! How ?

<< < (16/18) > >>

azrobert:
In OBi Expert navigate to the settings you tried to change.
The default value will be displayed for the setting.
Unchecking the box under OBiTalk will reveal the change you made.

If everything looks good, check the SP4 Status again.
Again, is it registered?

Another thing you could do is check the OBi History.
To access Call History:
Log directly into the OBi using the local interface.
Key the IP address of the OBi into a Web Browser.
If you don't know the IP address dial ***1 from the OBi Phone.
An IVR message will tell you the IP address.
The IP address will be something like 192.168.1.100

Hit Enter
The UserID and default Password are both "admin".
Click Status on the left column.
Then click Call History.

The entry for the call should look like this:
"To SP4(12345678)"

I'm using a Windows 7 machine and an OBi110.
I also have an OBi200, but I don't want to mess with it.
I have 2 Sip2Sip accounts.
My accounts have alphabetic UserIDs.
You can use a keyboard with the Phonerlite softphone, so I can call an alphabetic UserID.
On the OBi110 I setup a speed dial to call the Phonerlite's alphabetic UserID.
Calls work both ways with my setup.

I do have an XP SP3 machine.
I will try Phonerlite on it tomorrow.

I don't think the dashboard displays the correct status when you manually configure a provider.

The SP4 Status on the System Status page is what counts.

It seems it's not worth of these much headache,...
OBI should have their Reps who can take control of your computer and can get/fix in just seconds,...  Months ago, a lady from OBI was on phone with me, and she had set up all features from her's end, for my OBi202 accounts, but now they do not answer any phone, unless they call you.
BTW, how many fellows here on chat board are   OBI's own Reps?    Can they call you if you request them?
Because,  even if my side is set,  to my relatives there in India  they can not spend this much time, pain and headaches,.. for installing and settings,...they rather spend  8 cents  a minute when needed to call once in    a month, but can never take these much headache of  installation and settings.  Not worth.

I think, nthg is working out,..

neither  that calling from the OBI website by mic and headphone,.

Can anyone please advise me step by step web application  and installation procedure…so that, My relatives can  establish an icon on his cell and
We can talk each other via    Obi Ids to Ids for free and unlimited,.. [ using WebRTC applications ]

I will highly appreciate it,  if this could be established. Pl. advise me.

Is there, any updated advanced software available ( By OBIHAI or any third party ) for this yet ?
