help setting up a 110
vivid:
I just got my 110 yesterday and am trying to set it up for my technically challenged mum.
So far I have attached her land line. SP1 registered to Google Voice and SP2 is registered on CallWithUs.
From what I can gather GV is the default, to access the land line **8 and to access SP2 **2 needs to preface the number.
Although the above would work, I think it could be made easier, but I don't know how.
I'm fine with SP1/GV being the default, but would like to be able to access SP2/CallWithUs with a preface of "00" before the number, instead of **2.
Also I'm assuming there is a more detailed setup page inside the 110, than the website. What is the default username and PW when accessing the 110? Right now I go to the IP but all the login options I think of fail
azrobert:
The default UserID and password are both "admin".
If you want to use the local interface to configure the OBi you can't use OBiTalk and must turn off Auto Provisioning, otherwise OBiTalk will override your changes.
System Management -> Auto Provisioning
Under OBiTalk Provisioning
Method: Disabled
You can do almost everything in OBiTalk as using the local interface.
I prefer the local interface.

More configuration options are available using OBi Expert.
Click the gear ICON to the right of OBixxx.
Select OBi expert.
Select Enter OBi Expert.
From the OBiTalk dashboard click Edit Profile on the left column.
At the bottom of the page check "Enable Obi Expert..."
Click Submit Query.
Now you can go directly to OBi Expert from the dashboard.
Click Obi Dashboard.
On the right of your OBixxx is an icon with a red E.
Click on it to enter OBi Expert.
To navigate click on the titles with the +
Then click on a sub-title
An example click on Service Providers
Then click ITSP Profile A General
There are 2 boxes to the right of each setting
To change a setting uncheck the box under ObiTalk Setting
Then uncheck the box under Device Default
Now change the setting
After you have made all the necessary changes for that page, click Submit at the bottom of the page.
OBiTalk will download the configuration changes to the OBi and reboot it.
Wait until this process is complete before continuing to the next page.

Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port
DigitMap
and
OutboundCallRoute
Everywhere you see "**2" change it to "00".
The 00 prefix will be remove before the number is sent to CallWithUs.
If you are sending a unique number to CallWithUs you don't need a prefix.
An example is only international numbers sent to SP2.

***found the issue. I had a dial plan on my gigaset, which I thought I can canceled, but had not. It was intercepting the 00 calls. OBi works great now. ****
Robert,
first, thanks for all of your help.
I have followed your instructions and am now using expert on OBitalk. On the Physical Interface>phone page I have changed and submitted the following settings only.
Digitmap: ([1-9]x?*(Mpli)|[1-9]S9|[1-9][0-9]S9|911|**0|***|#|**1(Msp1)|00(Msp2)|**8(Mli)|**9(Mpp)|(Mpli))
Outboundcallroute: {([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp},{(<#:>|911):li},{**0:aa},{***:aa2},{(<**1:>(Msp1)):sp1},{(<00:>(Msp2)):sp2},{(<**8:>(Mli)):li},{(<**9:>(Mpp)):pp},{(Mpli):pli}
When I then try to call a number I just get a busy signal for a few seconds, then it disconnects. I have tried bout a US number 001*** *** **** and a UK number 0044 161*** ****. both get the same result. Am I missing something?
thanks again for all of your help.
Edit:
My objective is to send all none US numbers to SP2/CallWithUs. If there is a better way please let me know.
