I use an ipkall number pointing to iptel for incoming calls to my obi 202.  Everything has been working until recently, when I have been trying out various services to replace Google Voice.  Somehow I have screwed things up so that calls to my ipkall number (through iptel) ring once and immediately go to a voicemail.  I think it is the iptel voicemail, but I am not sure.  I can't find a place in iptel to set the number of rings before voicemail, nor can I find it in the obi 202.

Any help appreciated!!

Never mind.  I got it to work by putting huge numbers in the My Account>Forward>final response invite timer.  I put in 400000 and it rang forever.  Now I have to experiment to find the optimal number for the ring time I want.  And I also have to get iptel forwarding to another phone to work.  Anybody know how?

I never used iptel.org, so I can't answer your question.

If you don't get an answer and depending what you want to do, you can use Callcentic's free Freedom account or Sip2Sip.

Its very simple...

sip.iptel.org
5060

user & password.

Keep uri blank.

The problem i did there is, i used user@iptel.org. Should be without @iptel.org

Thanks..
