My OBi200 has been working fine for over a month, but now I can't make a call.  A woman comes on and says "there is no service available to complete your call".  In my OBi portal, the Google Voice status was "Offline".  I tried to replace the Google account, now the status is stuck on "Configuring".  Any assistance would be appreciated.

Verify that your internet connection is otherwise working properly.  If it is, you've probably made some sort of mistake in configuration.

Log onto the OBiTALK portal, delete your OBi off of your account, factory reset it, and start over.  See:

Thanks for the response.

It looked like an issue with GV, but I reset the Obi200 and it connected.

For future reference, the Obi error messages are read by a male voice (I hope that didn't change?) - so first indication that it's the provider and not the Obi is the distinction between the voices announcing the error messages.
Then you have the Call history with will give you some indication where the error comes from (although googling the error is not bullet-proof).

I know this is an old topic but I hope this helps someone.

i started to get "no service avail..." when trying to dial out, it turns out that the gmail account stopped letting less secure devices access.
the gmail notified me that a suspicious device tried to log on (obi110) and was denied access.

i had to change a security setting within gmail to allow less secure apps and devices to log on.

after rebooting the obi110, it worked.

you probably are NOT using OAuth -- You should upgrade your firmware and use OAuth -- It's MUCH more secure.

See SteveInWa's post(s) on this.

I wonder if Google detected a different IP address? If one loses power or swaps out a cable modem, the IP address may change.

Just a thought.

Do not make this security settings change.  It is entirely unnecessary, if the OBi's firmware has been properly updated and GV has been set up using OAUTH 2.0.

I had this happen after my cable modem had issues.  I was able to get service back by unplugging the Obi's power and plug back in.  And then I went to the dashboard, entered settings for the device and then entered settings for SP1 and Saved without making any changes.  It showed as 'Configuring ... ' and then it came online & worked.

Posted in case someone else has the issue.   :)
