homephone connected to orange livebox phone output.
second phone connected to the output on orange livebox internet where i would put in a laptop normally.
Is that correct?
I dialled the number with the stars and the laptop can see obi110 and gave obi# number, mac and sn number.

What is the next step?
I need it configured for powervoip.
I want to use that second phone only for powervoip international calls:
I use my normal homephone for calling in France.

I am asked Service Provider Proxy Server
Service Provider Proxy Server Port
Outbound Proxy Server
Outbound Proxy Server Port
User Name      [Your account will be used in the OBi's authusername parameter]
Password       [OBiTalk does not store this password. Your OBi Device will have its password updated if this field is modified.]
URI
where to find?HuhHuhHuh

The OBi110 works perfectly well in France and many other countries all over the world.

The product is designed in the USA and all its settings default to USA ones.

If you do not know your powervoip SIP settings you can only get them from powervoip.

Have you registered your Obi using the **5 xxxxx procedure?

I REGISTERD 2 TIMES WITH THAT WAY AND THAT WORKS
SP1
powervoip
Register Failed: 500 Internal server error

SP2 (Optional)
powervoip
Register Failed: 500 Internal server error

powervoip sip port 3830 ip and a phone number given: uri ID@sip.powervoip.com
I do not know why on one page they say to connect obi to the laptop and on obi site they say to connect it to orange live box, i did that:
I SEE    Register Failed: 500 Internal server error (server=77.72.169.129:5060; retry in 20s
NO IT DOES NOT WORK IN FRANCE I HAVE USED SET UP AS PER THREAD
I WANT TO RING WITH MY HOMEPHONE THAT IS CONNECTED TO THE ORANGE PHONE INPUT. But when i ring to spain i should ring via internet powervoip and need to connect this to my second phone.
i was told to buy obi for that but it does not work,

Calm down and stop shouting or no-one here is going to help you.

Can you reach the Obi echo test number?  Dial **9 222 222 222?

when i log into powervoip by hand on the laptop it asks me to put in a verification code, read what is written in strange letters and then type it in.

*Access to our SIP server from your accounts is disabled by default.

You can enable this by changing the settings below.* I get this on  powervoip, should I enable this?

OOH account say registered now. Cheesy

I think this might work after all.  Grin
Thank you

When I ring I hear a voice ask me to go to obitalk.com and configure my device.
I have to ring with star star 1 before the number. but then I get a lady telling me she can not connect my call.
Should I check this box as well or will that make all my calls on the other phone go through obi as well?

Yes it rings it rings my landline rings when I call it with the obiphone. THANK YOU ALL. Smiley

The OBi110 sends all outgoing calls over the PSTN line by default. If you want all calls to dial out over powervoip then you need to change the primary line to SP1. (If powervoip is configured against SP1)

You can find the primary line option under Physical Interfaces > PHONE Port > PrimaryLine

That way you no longer need to dial **1 before making any calls.
