I want to set up my Obion Number as an extension in obiplus using an obi202. I currently have 5 Cisco phones in the system and would like to be able have someone in the office dial an extension and ring my Obion Iphone and also make it part of a group. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  ???

On page 30 of the OBiPlus doc there are User extension examples.
http://www.obihai.com/docs/OBiPLUSTutorial.pdf

I never used OBiPlus, but it looks like you can setup OBion like extension 108 in the example.
Just use your OBion OBi number.

Thanks for your response. Yes it appears that way in the diagram in the manual but in obiplus you can only enter the IP address of the users phone when adding a user. It will not accept the obion number. Must be an earlier version of obiplus.

You should be able to setup the OBion as an outbound number. If you do it this way, OBion will not be in a group.

OBion should already be setup on speed dial#1. Just dial the speed dial number to call OBion.

or

On page 41 of the user guide is an example of outbound calls.
Setup an outbound call like this:
Trunk: PP
Dial Prefix: 9
Leading Pattern: 290111111

Dial 9290111111

Change 290111111 to the OBi number of OBion

I know how to route call inbound calls to OBion on a native OBi202, but I don't know how OBiPlus interfaces with the OBi202. If you want this function please post the following and maybe I can figure it out.

Voice Services -> SPx Service: X_InboundCallRoute

Thanks for the help. Here is the contents of Voice Services -> SPx Service: X_InboundCallRoute
{(OBi numbers|OBi number):aa},{ph1}

This looks like a normal inbound route.
Apparently OBiPlus has internal links to the trunks and doesn't modify the OBi200's routes.

To route inbound calls to OBion do this:
X_InboundCallRoute
{(290111111|290222222):aa},{ph1,pp(290111111)}

It looks like you have 2 OBions.
If you want inbound calls routed to both do this:
{(290111111|290222222):aa},{ph1,pp(290111111),pp(290222222)}

You can route calls to a max of 4 devices.
The 1st to answer will be connected to the call.

You shouldn't post any real numbers.
Modify your last post and remove/change the OBi numbers.

I just realized the code you have routing OBi numbers to the Auto Attendant is in the wrong place. This code should be in the OBiTalk inbound route.

This is what the SPx X_InboundCallRoute should be:
{ph1,pp(290111111)}

If you want to make outbound calls from OBion, you don't need the AA.

Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute:
{290111111>0:ph},{290111111>(Msp1):sp1},{ph}

Dial the following from OBion:
0   to ring the phone port#1 on the OBi202
18005551212  to route a call out SP1
If you have other requirements, post them.

This code must be placed in the OBion's Gateway OBi202.
If the 2nd OBion doesn't have a Gateway OBI202, you have to dial differently.

Thanks again so much for your help. I will try what you suggest. Interesting though I also sent this email to obi support right after I posted on the forum. I asked:

"I want to set up my Obion Number as an extension in obiplus using an obi202.

Their answer was "You can only make calls out from the app, you can not receive calls." Now I am a little confused.
