How Do I Check Call History? Obi 202 with GV

Hi -- I am trying to check the history of a call I placed this morning using my Obi 202 with GV configured as SP3.

I dialed into a conference call and must have entered the wrong passcode sequence as it put me into a different call than everyone else attending. It became an issue since I was supposed to lead the call.

I checked GV History, but that only records the phone number dialed, and not the sequence of digits punched after the call was answered.

Does OBI record that info and, if so, how do I access it?  I tried searching and found several references to checking the Obi's History but no instructions for how to access it.

Thank you!

You need to login to the obi's local web interface (***1, get the IP address) http://<ipaddress>

userid: admin
password: (default is admin, but might be changed, see the portal).

Then under status on the left menu is call history.

it holds the last 400 calls on the 202.

I doubt that Call History will show those "DTMF digits" which are dialled after a call is established.

Thank you!  I tried following these instructions (I assumed I just type the IP address into a browser window), but I got a 404 Not Found error.

Do I need to do something to make the Obi public or discoverable on my network?

I didn't have to do anything -- are you using the OBI202 in it's Router Mode?

I'm not, I'm just using it's WAN side on my switch which goes to anothe rRouter.

What browser as well?

You might want to type:

http://ip.add.re.ss

I.E. for mine:
http://192.168.200.85/

As far as I know, I'm not using it in Router mode.  It's plugged into my TP-Link router.  I tried using all three of my browsers (IE, Firefox and Chrome) and I can't access it via any of them.

so the connection to the TP-Link is to the Obi's "Internet" Port?

kgjulie

Yes. TP Link > (ethernet cord) > Obi's Internet port

lrosenman

and your computer (browser) is on another port on the TP-Link or it's WiFi(which)?

Yes. TP Link > (ethernet cord) > Obi's Internet port

Make sure you enter into OBi expert and click AccessFromWAN under System Management/Device Admin. After that, with the correct IP, you should be able to view your OBi from your web browser (just make sure you have the right IP). See attachment below for a picture.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.   I forgot I did that long ago (sept).

Thanks, LTN1!

The "Access from WAN" setting worked! I was able to enter the IP address and navigate to the history. Drgeoff is correct that the History does not record digits dialed or entered after the call is established.

Thank you to everyone who helped me figure this out.  Much appreciated!
