Anybody can confirm obi200 supports justvoip sip and can share settings? Thanks!

drgeoff

I cannot confirm as I don't have a justvoip account but https://www.justvoip.com/sip details how to configure a SIP client and Obi ATAs and phones are fairly standard SIP devices.

GAKW

Thanks, for your patience.
What I have done with with obi so far:
1. Using obitalk - Setup 3 SP via obitalk
2. Using obitalk - Set expert mode and made some updates (digimap, etc)
3. Using web interface - disable auto provisioning and managing from obitalk (I am told so obitalk doesnt overwrite my settings)
4. Using web interface - make some additional updates (digimap, etc)

At this point I want to add SP #4. I have two options:
a. Use obitalk with setup wizard (at risk of losing my configuration?)
b. Use web interface but would need to find a how to UG

Appreciate your feedback. I am very happy with obi200. It is an amazing piece of HW.

If you want to use OBiTalk to configure your OBi, do steps 5 thru 7

Thanks (again) azrobert
Perfect, I will try and report back

#5
As usual I didn't read the entire thread. I don't think there is a wizard for JustVoip.

To manually configure JustVoip:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile D -> SIP -> ProxyServer : sip.justvoip.com
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> AuthUserName : Your JustVoip userid
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> AuthPassword : Your JustVoip PW
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> X_ServProvProfile : D

Edit:
Click Status then click System Status.
Scroll down to SP4 Status to see if JustVoip is registered.

GAKW

Thanks, I also changed
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile D -> SIP -> RegistrarServer : sip.justvoip.com
Since this appear on this instructions. I am not sure if it makes a difference but everything is working :)

One question though, I ended up using manual configuration but of curiosity followed the instructions you indicated to sync obi and obitalk. However it doesnt seem to work for me

5. Create a Configuration Backup locally in System Management/Device Update.
Check Use OBi Version.
6. In OBiTalk Expert import the backup. Now the OBi and OBiTalk will be in sync.
7. Locally enable OBiTalk Provisioning.

After #6 I click obitalk expert to actually see the configuration but no new justvoip values are included.
Any suggestions?
When doing #5 backup i only selected Use OBi Version but not the other two (Incl. Running Status  Incl. Default Value)

Is there a "!" next to the value?
This indicates the value is different than the default.
Uncheck the box under OBiTalk Setting to see the real value.
This is one of the several reasons why I don't use OBiTalk.

I believe when the Proxy and Registrar Server are the same you don't need to define the Registrar Server.

GAKW

Thanks, I can see now the values.
Is the OBI Dashboard also supposed to get updated through restore? It doesnt show SP4 (even though OBI expert has all the settings)

I don't use OBiTalk, so I don't know the answer to your question.
The only time I used OBiTalk was to define GV and then I switched back to the local interface.
All my manually defined trunks don't show on the dashboard after an import.
Maybe it will show if you manually define it with OBi Expert.
