They would need an obitalk login to get a soft phone OBi number. You may only get a limited number per OBi device.
You get only one softphone OBI number per Obitalk account. Every Obitalk account requires a unique email address. An Obitalk account does not require an Obi hardware device.

Thank you so much, you guys are awesome!!
OK I have this cell phone android (no provider) just wifi,

I have Google Voice # which rings my OBIHi
@ home & 2 other family cell phones that don't
have the OBION software but have service
providers, they all work great.
But I can't get this wifi phone to work with the OBION software.
what exactly am I supposed to change on the expert dashboard???
Again thanks a million for your kindness!!!
azrobert:
You need to make the change I suggested in my 1st reply.
After the change when someone calls your Google Voice number, the phone attached to your OBi AND your Android OBion will ring.
This is a general OBi Expert guide:
From the OBiTalk dashboard click Edit Profile on the left column.
At the bottom of the page check "Enable Obi Expert..."
Click Submit Query.
Now you can go directly to OBi Expert from the dashboard.
Click OBi Dashboard.
On the right of your OBixxx is an icon with a red E.
Click on it to enter OBi Expert.
To navigate click on the titles with the +
Then click on a sub-title
An example click on Service Providers
Then click ITSP Profile A General
There are 2 boxes to the right of each setting
To change a setting uncheck the box under ObiTalk Setting
Then uncheck the box under Device Default
Now change the setting
After you have made all the necessary changes for that page, click Submit at the bottom of the page.
OBiTalk will download the configuration changes to the OBi and reboot it.
Wait until this process is complete before continuing to the next page.

Sorry to be such a pest!!
On the SP1 X_InboundCallRoute which # do I put the 290123456??
or the 300123456??? should it have any letters in front of the #???
how about the OBITalk right below the SP1 X_InboundCallRoute??
should that be changed too? & what # should that have 290123456
or 300123456?? which is the OBION #???
Guys I'm almost there!! this is the last time I will bug you,
I promise!! lol :)
azrobert:
Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute: ph,pp(290123456)
Change 290123456 to your OBion OBi number.
You should code it exactly like the above.
You could optionally code it like: ph,pp(ob290123456)
I don't like to code any extra characters, so I don't code the "ob"
Sign into your OBiTalk account.
All your OBi devices should be listed on the dashboard.
Just to the right of OBion will be the OBi Number
It is listed in 2 rows
6 digits on the 1st row
3 digits on the 2nd row.
Use the 9 digits to replace "290123456" above.
If your OBion is not listed on the dashboard:
Click Edit Profile on the left column of the page.
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Check View Softphone on Dashboard
Click Submit Query
Go back to the Dashboard.
Now OBion will be listed.

I don't see any OBiTalk right below SP1 X_InboundCallRoute
I see X_RegisterEnable right below SP1 X_InboundCallRoute
Anyway, you don't need anything more than the change I suggested.
Speed dial 1 should be setup for the OBion app.
From the Dashboard click Speed Dials on the left of the page.
Speed Dial 1 should be **9290123456
Where 290123456 is the OBi number of the OBion app.
You can test calling OBion by dialing 1 from the phone connected to your Obi.
I have some bad news.
The OBion app hasn't been updated since 2011 and some people have problems with it.
It's a good sign that outbound calls work with your Android, but it's no guarantee that inbound calls will work.
If it doesn't work, it's too bad you promised you wouldn't bug us anymore.
Just kidding.
If it doesn't work you can use a SIP softphone.
