Ever since a power outage, my OBi100 has been blinking red & green alternately.

I tried the recommendation at http://www.obihai.com/support/troubleshooting/alt even though I did not think it needed a firware update.  That didn't make a difference.

After several rounds of power cycling I finally decided to try the route of a factory reset as explained http://www.obihai.com/faq/Troubleshooting-sec/How-to-Factory-Reset.  I don't ever get to the state described in step #3 (After 10 seconds, the Power LED will start to flash green (slowly).).

It is still alternately blinking red & green.

Any help/pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Maybe the plugin power supply is bad?

It can only be one of two things..

Either a firmware update was attempted and failed or you may have a faulty power adaptor. I think it the former.

What happens when you attempt the steps here: http://www.obihai.com/support/troubleshooting/alt

Does it appear to update successfully? Try it again.
