OK, thanks for that additional information on the 1022.  How do the 1032 and 1062 handle ringing and transferring to different wired or wireless extensions?

Gary

Same as the 1022.

Perhaps I was not clear.  The OBi10xx phones have no way of connecting to other analogue extension phones (wired or wireless) unless those other phones are connected to an ATA.  The OBi10xx phones have no PHONE socket.

OK, got it thanks.

You can setup a smartphone, a computer or a phone connected to an ATA as an extension. You would use the OBion app or a SIP softphone. If you use SIP, the softphone must be able to call without registration.

I'm not familiar with the 1022, but on the 1032 to transfer a call you would use a Program key or the Transfer key. The program key would connect to the extension. With the Transfer key you would have to dial something. After the extension answers, you press Transfer Now and hangup.

Just fire up your web browser, and type ring.to in the address bar, see what's gonna happen.

Ring.to is another VoIP service provide similar to Google Voice, offers free calling through out US and Canada.
