I have my OBi 100 linked to my GV account and it has been set up using the OBi portal (www.obitalk.com).

I have read in the forums about the record button and such cool features that show up if you log on using http://<your IP address.

I tried logging in http://<your IP address using my GV account credentials but it fails. Can someone assist?

Edit. My answer immediately below is incorrect.  See OzarkEdge's answer following it for the correct answer.

None of the OBi devices has a record facility; there is no record button anywhere on thr portal or the local web interface.

The default login name and password for the web GUI on the device are admin and admin. You can see the password on the Obitalk portal. The device password is separate from your Obitalk or Google one.

Perhaps GV has a recording facility. If so it would be available via google.com/voice.

Or are you referring to 'Call History'? That holds details of the last 200 calls in or out. Available only on the local web interface. Once logged in,  click on' Status' at top of the list on the left hand side. (Call History is the only noteworthy feature I recall not being available via 'Expert' on the Obitalk portal.)

Connect a telephone to the OBi and dial ***,1 to hear its DHCP-assigned IP address.  Then browse to that IP address and login.  The default login is admin admin.

Find Status - Call Status.  Press the Record button that is only displayed during a call-in-progress to record the call to a *.au sound file.

Edit:  See page 59 in the admin guide http://www.obihai.com/docs/OBiDeviceAdminGuide.pdf.

You learn something every day as the saying goes.  I've been using an OBi110 for nearly three years and thought I had read the Admin Guide quite thoroughly but somehow I'd never come across and stored in memory that recording feature.

No worries... we're always learning.  :)
