Sounds like fun. Odd thing is I occasionally get a call on my POTS showing my own name and number.

kaniki:
thanks for the krazyworks list. i am definitely going to have to give a few of those a call.

I have not signed up for a provider yet, but I have gotten my 202 box set up. just got it in today. Dang thing was driving me nuts. I tried signing in to GV, then realized, i never set GV up with a phone number, so set it up, and it still glitched out. Then found out (after doing some searching) that you had to sign up for a gmail account to get GV to work, so I did, then my obi account did not bring over my regular email account into my new gmail one, and because they didnt, my box was still registered under my regular email account, so then had to sign out of google, reset my password on the obitalk site, then sign in while not signing into google, delete the device, along with creating a new password, then sign out, then sign in with google, and set everything up again. that was a pain. I wish I had seen that you had to sign in with a gmail account to get GV to work from the start. It would have saved a lot of hassle. but all is good now.. Now to just try it out for a month or so, and sign up for another provider to go with GV (which I am going to wait a bit to do, until closer to the time my regular year with phone power is up, then I will sign up and port my number. but so far, all is good and works great. thanks for all the info and help everyone.
