Title: Not able to punch in number for menu selection, etc
Post by: ju187 on April 08, 2012, 05:41:58 PM
Have OBi 110 and callcentric.  Could receive/make call in general.  However, each time I called someone such as a customer service and need to punch in a number for menu selection, the other side seem never could get it right.  Not sure whose issue it is.  Anyone has similar experience?  Thanks.

Try Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port -> DTMFRxMode: Software.

If that doesn't help, set it back to Hardware and try ITSP Profile A (or B, whichever you use for Callcentric) -> DTMFMethod: InBand.

For a free DTMF test on CC, dial the iNum 011883510000000092 and when prompted, dial a string of digits followed by #.

Thank you Stewart! I was looking for this.  I'm using Google Voice and had the same issue and switching to Software fixed the issue.  Mine seemed horribly delayed or would only register if I hammered the number about 5 times.

Thanks for the reply.  Somehow all the fields on the expert config page are read-only.
