Title: "No service configured error", Connecting to 146.112.61.106
Post by: Rodak on March 12, 2016, 11:01:09 AM
Got my new OBI200 hooked up, lights all good, test call worked fine, configured for Google Voice, and after sitting at "configuring..." for a very long time, it's now at "Connecting to 146.112.61.106" and just sitting there.  Tried to make a call, it says "no service configured error" - what might I be doing wrong?

I think I know the source of the problem - my router is set to use OpenDNS for DNS.  I LIKE having it that way, so I need to know:

a) If I set it to 4.2.2.2 (is that the correct one?) just long enough to let Obi finish it's config, will it continue to work after I set it back to OpenDNS?
b) If not, what do I need to open up in OpenDNS to allow the Obi to work properly?

Fixed!  I had to open  up talk.google.com and mtalk.google.com (both of which, curiously enough, were categorized as "adult" on OpenDNS, and voila, she's a woik now!
