Title: Can I transfer a call from Obi's ph. phone 1 to ph. port 2?
Post by: 2ooarmz on November 04, 2016, 07:34:39 PM
Earlier today I was on a call, using the phone that's connected Obi's ph. port 1; but then I wanted to talk to them using the other phone --  that phone is connected to Obi's phone port 2.   But when I picked up the other phone, all I got was a dial tone.

So, how can I (or can I) transfer a call that uses ph. port 1 over to the phone that uses phone port 2?
Oh, both ports are for the same phone number - our home phone number.

Our setup (the relevant part for this question):
Port 1
♦ Uniden phone (the base unit).
Wall jack > modem > router > Obihai > the phone jack splitter > Uniden phone

====================

Port 2  (The phone company added a separate phone jack to the main jack so that we could use the house wiring and the internet simultaneously.)

■ The extra phone
The house wiring phone jack (wall jack) > phone

Any help/suggestions?
Thanks!

Dial # from Phone2. You will barge-in to the call on Phone1. Hang up Phone1.

Yes, doing a flash hook, then #, did the trick - Thank you! :)
