From some key advice from Ron I was able to change routing strings to get my incoming Google Voice calls to ring my Obi110-attached phone, as well as a 3CX softphone, using the ObiApp for PC.
Now, I am wondering if there's any way to have incoming landline calls also ring my 3CX softphone?

It should already be occurring by virtue of:
Physical Interfaces -> LINE Port -> InboundCallRoute : {(1?4073610000):aa},{ph,pp(ob290485489)}
from this post:
http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=502.msg7766#msg7766
Now that you have VoIP.ms working on SP2, if you also set:
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute : {(1?4073610000):aa},{ph,pp(ob290485489)}
incoming calls from SP1, SP2, OBiTALK, and LINE Port trunks should all simultaneously ring both the OBi phone and the 3CX.
An InboundCallRoute consists of one or more rules : {rule},{rule},{rule}
The first rule that matches wins and no additional rules are checked.
{(1?4073610000):aa} : This rule is conditional on matching the CallerID and sends the caller to the Auto Attendant.
{ph,pp(ob290485489)} : This rule has no conditions and rings both the PHONE Port and OBiTALK number 290485489.
Ron:
Great. Just what I needed to know.
Thanks.
Not sure what the problem is, but landline not ringing on 3CX.
Google Voice set up and connected on 3CX. Do I need similar account for the Obi Gateway number configured on 3CX? I tried that using similar config approach as Google Voice, but 3CX fails to cnnect with that set-up.
Now, I discover that Google Voice isn't ringing the 3CX, either. SP1 (google) inbound call routing is: {ph,pp(ob290737856)}
Where could I be missing the problem?
Thanks.
A {ph,pp(ob290737856)} rule on any trunk should simultaneously ring the PHONE Port (ph) and the OBiON App (pp(ob290737856)). Does the OBi phone ring?
I just tried it here and it works as expected. I'm using X-Lite 4 instead of 3CX however.
Can you make a simple call to 3CX using: **9290737856
If you don't spot the problem, please post all four InboundCallRoute's (SP1/SP2/OBiTALK/LINE Port).
Ron:
The GV line rings the Obi phone and 3CX, as intended. However, the landline rings only the Obi-attached handset.
Are there settings in 3CX account set-up, Obitalk and/or Obi config menu that I need to double check?
Thanks
If the 3CX simultaneously rings on SP1 calls, it should work on any trunk.
Assuming you're configuring the OBi locally, the OBiTALK Web Portal isn't in the picture.
If you post all four InboundCallRoute's, I'll see if I can spot the problem.
Inbounds are:
SP1 - {ph,pp(ob290737856)}
SP2 - unused, no incoming voip.ms number, as yet (default)
Obitalk - {(290737856)>(xx.):SP1},{(290737856):aa},{ph}
Fourth is?
The one you're having problems with : LINE Port
That's the problem, no doubt, as Line Port inbound is just "ph"
So, it should look like SP1, or something else?
Thanks.
SP1 : {ph,pp(ob290737856)}
SP2: {ph,pp(ob290737856)}
OBiTALK : {(290737856)>(Msp1):sp1},{(290737856):aa},{ph,pp(ob290737856)}
LINE Port : {ph,pp(ob290737856)}
This will simul-ring the OBi phone and 3CX on all incoming calls.
Ron:
Great! All functional now.
Will be happy when Obi allows pass-through of outside caller ID to softphone.
Thanks again.
