I ported my home phone (ATT) to an ATT cell phone. I then thought I ported my number over to Google voice. I got a confirmation number and this number shows as my second number in the Google voice screen. I then chose a random number and it shows as #1. When I call the number I ported (my phone number for 40 plus years) it just rings and rings. How do I make my ported? number the # 1 number? My husband is really mad at me for changing the number. Please advise. I know I am doing something wrong as it won't let me pay for the port of $20. Frustrated.....
