Based on popular demand, this feature is now available.
When you configure SP1 or SP2, there is a (optional) field to enter your 3 digit area code for US/Canada.
11 digit dialing (1-xxx-xxx-xxxx) is still required to call numbers outside the area code.
Please note: Configuration wizard at obihai.com (not the OBiTALK.com device configuration utility) is only for configuring your SP1 setting, not allowing SP2 configuration.
